Happy New Year! Devlog #2


Hello and Happy New Year to you all. 

I entered LML into the Interactive Fiction Showcase game jam, so I made sure to have an updated demo.

tried to  get a WebGL build up and running, but that thing was basically unplayable. I may try to look into it some more. Might be an optimization problem.

Still want to try mobile.

Speaking of trying things, last devlog I mentioned I might be able to fix the jaggy transitions in the animation caused by my taking away the Live2D fade controller, but clearly that didn't work out. I think I found the problem, but I'll have to take to some forums. Hopefully I can get it working.

Anyway...

Changelog:

  • Revised all of Vahn's animations + tweaked his Live2D model
  • Made a lazy model for ??? and gave basic animations (new model in the works)
  • Added a HUD/GUI pop-up for when Vahn likes your response and your affinity increases
  • Some font changes
  • Changed cover art
  • Added a few more save files
  • Added a linux build (which I have no idea if it works or not..)

And that's about it. There will probably just be a couple more updates to the demo before I start actually working on the full game.
